(FULLERTON, CA) -- Join California State University Fullerton College of
Communications Alumni Chapter Wednesday, October 17 as it hosts its first Fall
2012 evening of networking and connections at the gorgeous Ruby’s Streamliner
Lounge at the Historic Santa Fe Depot (186 N Atchison, Orange) from 6:30 to
8:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and preregistration is strongly encouraged.
The mixer
will feature Alumnus Zack Swire, Class of 2003, owner of SWIRE (www.goswire.com), as he speaks about eGood (www.egood.com) on his series “Social Good for Business.”
“We are
excited to host the first mixer this fall to reconnect our members back to the
chapter,” said College of Communications Alumni Chapter president, Ashley
Gonzalez, “and to introduce new alumni and the community to what we have to
offer.”
Included
with the price of admission are appetizers, refreshments and a one-drink ticket
to each attendee. A cash bar is also available.

ABOUT
THE SPEAKER, ZACH SWIRE: Zack Swire graduated from CSUF in 2003
with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. He is the founder of eGood and President
and CEO of SWIRE, a strategic ad agency focused on going beyond, with offices
in CA, DC, NY and CO. eGood is a social good movement that empowers the
community to support businesses that give at least three percent to causes. Swire
is the president of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and presently
serves on two CSUF campus boards: the Marketing Advisory Board and the Mihaylo Executive Council Board. As a husband
for more than 10 years, dad of 5 year-old triplets, and crossfit newbie, Zack’s
life outside SWIRE keeps him busy, yet focused, passionate, and happy.
ABOUT
THE CSUF COLLEGE OF COMMUNICATIONS ALUMNI CHAPTER:
The chapter was formed in 2006
and offers a unique post-CSUF experience, networking events, celebrities and
once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. The chapter brings together both experienced
professionals and recent grads to build and promote the College of
Communications of California State University, Fullerton.
