Rivera's
award-wining style led to the invention of the LP Cyclone Shaker, a percussion
instrument that emulates a rain stick. "Every percussionist should have
one," said Rivera, who is also the
brainchild behind Bongo Heads known as EM-RAYS made with sturdy double-ply
plastic that withstands moisture, heat and cold, producing excellent sound for
recording. "As a percussionist, I'm always thinking one step ahead and
adding to my library of sound, always creating in my mind that transcends into
my music."
